When Beau Dermott, 12, told the judges of Britain’s Got Talent that she was going to sing “Defying Gravity” from the popular musical Wicked, they wished her luck.
The entire audience was enraptured throughout her performance as the young girl blew everyone away with her powerful voice and impressive skills. She didn’t just stand and sing like many other singers her age, or any age for that matter. She, too, played the part with a lot of emotion and facial expressions.
The audience and judges, including Simon Cowell, were on their feet by the end. You can see the excitement and surprise on her face when she received the coveted Golden Buzzer from one of the judges!
