Nothing compares to coffee in the morning. I have a cup first thing every day. However, I typically have tea in the nights.

After adding a bag of your preferred brew, of course, you quickly have a hot cup ready after starting the kettle.

A few minutes later, you take out the bag, throw it in the garbage, and sip the tea.

However, I haven’t thrown out any tea bags since my grandmother showed me some creative ways to use them.

1. Treat sunburns

Rinse a tea bag containing black tea with cold water.

When you get sunburned in the summer or when traveling overseas, it will become your new best buddy. Tannic acid, which is found in black tea, promotes skin healing and provides a long-lasting cooling effect.

2. Treat mild burns

The identical tea bags that are used for sunburns can be used for another critical circumstance.

Put a tea bag on the burned area if you unintentionally burn yourself. Minor burns are also relieved by the tannins in black tea.

3. Remove warts

Did you know that the antioxidants in green tea help stop warts from developing? Once it has cooled, take a used tea bag and lay it over the wart.

After fifteen minutes, take out the tea bag and put a fresh one in. Give the second one fifteen more minutes. Your wart will then come off after a few days.

4. Stop puffiness in your eyes

Additionally, black tea’s tannins can help reduce puffy bags under your eyes.

Save the teabag for the next time you have a cup of tea. Store it in the refrigerator for a day or two after putting it in a small container. Then, take a few tea bags out of your refrigerator when you think it’s time to address the bags under your eyes.
